Intuitive eating is about more than eating
It is an evidenced-based approach to health guided by 10 Principles geared towards self-care. Intuitive Eating has a validated assessment tool that is Health At Every Size aligned. It is a practice of becoming more in tune with and developing a healthy relationship with food, your mind and your body. It is about getting rid of the diet culture messages and learning, or re-learning, how to trust your own body.
I have enhanced my practice to help you prioritize the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating because not only have I personally experienced the benefits of Intuitive Eating, but because I believe it is a sustainable way to live. We can choose to live with self-compassion and curiosity rather than shame and fear.
